This new NX Eagle™ derailleur features the proven SRAM 1x-specific X-HORIZON™ design. The larger, 14-tooth X-SYNC™ lower pulley easily facilitates 11- to 50- and 10- to 50-tooth cassette capacity, and also adds to NX Eagle's overall smooth-pedaling feel. The Type-3 ROLLER BEARING CLUTCH™ provides quiet, consistent performance and durability.

Can this derailleur be used with my shifter?
All SRAM Eagle derailleurs are completely intercompatible with SRAM Eagle shifters. Only SRAM AXS (wireless) components have different requirements.

Does this derailleur come with the B-tension adjustment tool?
Yes

Do I need to replace my chain when I replace the derailleur?
Use a chain wear tool to check the wear on your chain. If the chain is more than 0.5% worn it is recommendable to replace the chain as it will accelerate the wear on the derailleur wheels.
