Garmin Speed Sensor 2 AND CADENCE SENSOR 2

Garmin Speed Sensor 2 AND CADENCE SENSOR 2

Save your speed during the tour with this easy-to-install speed sensor. Magnets or other accessories are not required. The sensor is quick to install and easy to maintain. It can also be used on different bikes without any problems.

The speed sensor 2 is mounted on one of the wheel hubs. Set the bike size manually in Garmin Connect  or self-calibrate with an Edge ® bike computer or compatible Garmin device. After setup, you will always receive precise speed and distance data - even without pairing with a Garmin product.

ANT + ® connectivity and Bluetooth ® Low Energy enable synchronization with Garmin Connect and other training apps , compatible devices and fitness equipment. This means that you have extensive data available for indoor training and outdoor tours. The speed sensor 2 automatically saves the distance with each exit and can therefore be used when planning service intervals.

FAQ

Does this give a power output?
No, it does not provide a power output.

I don't have a Garmin device. How would one be able to calibrate the speed sensor?
You will need a Garmin or wahoo or similar bike computer. The sensors connect automatically and wirelessly. The bike computer will ask what size wheels are on your bike. The speed is calculated by counting rotations of the wheels.

Will this work with Garmin instinct?
Yes.

Can I use two sets of sensors on one garmin edge 530. 1 set for gravel bike and 1 set for my mtb?
Yes! I use one set of sensors on my road bike and one on my bike I use as a trainer. Once the sensors are moving the Garmin will pick them up.
