The use of suspension forks on gravel bikes is expanding as routes become more demanding. The ultra-light Fox 32 Taper Cast, optimized for gravel, makes replacing rigid forks easier. Weighing just 1226 grams, it's the lightest suspension fork Fox has produced. Its slim taper-cast design reduces air resistance and complements modern gravel bike aesthetics.
The fork features a 40 mm spring travel with a smaller air chamber, optimized for many riders without needing volume spacers, though up to four can be added if necessary. Proven lower leg bypass channels enhance oil circulation and performance throughout the travel.
A notable design element is the rearward-positioned fork bridge, which lowers the structure for material savings and contributes to the fork's sleek appearance. With a 330 mm steerer tube, it accommodates comfortable seating positions on bikes with long head tubes. Included mudguard brackets ensure reliable performance in adverse weather.
NOTE: The fork is not suitable for 650b tires as the chassis limits the width to 30 millimeters for this tire size.
